Ingredients:
- 1 unbaked pie crust
- 1 cup of sugar
- 6 large eggs, having them at room temperature is a must
- ¼ teaspoon of nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla
- 3 cups of whole milk, having it at room temperature is a must
- ⅛ teaspoon of nutmeg, for garnish
Instructions :

Prep Crust:
Fit pie crust into pie dish. Crimp edges; chill. -
Make Filling:
Whisk sugar and eggs until frothy (2 mins). Add vanilla, ¼ tsp nutmeg.
Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. -
Bake:
Pour filling into crust. Sprinkle ⅛ tsp nutmeg.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) 45-55 mins. Use pie shield after 30 mins to prevent burning. -
Set:
Cool completely → refrigerate 4+ hours.
