Peanut Butter Cup French Toast Rolls

Ingredients :

For the Rolls:
• 6–8 thick slices of brioche or Texas toast, crusts removed
• 2 large eggs
• ½ cup milk (whole or half-and-half for richer texture)
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• A pinch of salt

For the Filling:
• Peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
• Nutella or other chocolate spread

Optional for Coating:
• ¼ cup sugar
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• Melted peanut butter or Reese’s spread for drizzling

Instructions :

1. Flatten the Bread:
• Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice of bread. This makes it easier to roll.
2. Add the Filling:
• Spread a thin layer of peanut butter and a little Nutella or chocolate spread onto each flattened slice.
• Roll each slice up tightly like a jelly roll.
3. Prepare the Egg Mixture:
• In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
4. Dip and Cook:
• Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, coating well but not soaking.
• Cook in a buttered skillet or nonstick pan over medium heat, turning to brown all sides (about 2–3 minutes per side).
5. Optional Coating:
• Mix cinnamon and sugar in a shallow dish and roll the warm rolls in the mixture.
6. Drizzle and Serve:
• Drizzle melted peanut butter or Reese’s spread over the top.
• Serve warm with a glass of milk or your favorite hot drink.
