20-Minute Homemade Bread

Ingredients:

Dry Mix:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp sugar

Wet Mix:

  • 1 cup warm water (110°F/45°C)

  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Optional Upgrades:

  • 1 tsp garlic powder, 2 tbsp fresh herbs, or ½ cup shredded cheese

Instructions:

  1. Prep:

  2. Mix Dry:

    • Whisk flourbaking powdersalt, and sugar in a bowl.

  3. Combine Wet:

    • Make a well in center. Pour in olive oil and warm water.

    • Stir until shaggy dough forms (add herbs/garlic now if using).

  4. Knead & Shape:

    • Turn onto floured surface. Knead 1-2 mins with dough scraper until smooth.

    • Form into loaf or 6 rolls. Place on sheet.

  5. Bake:

    • Bake 15-20 mins until golden and hollow-sounding when tapped.

    • Cool 5 mins on rack before slicing.
