Bacon Cheeseburger Stuffed Tater Tot Cones

Ingredients

For the Tater Tot Cones:

  • 24 frozen tater tots
  • Cooking spray or a bit of oil (for greasing molds)

For the Cheeseburger Filling:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, chopped
  • Optional toppings: diced pickles, ketchup, mustard, burger sauce

Directions

  1. Shape the Cones:
    Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Form cone shapes using aluminum foil or cone molds and spray them lightly with cooking spray. Arrange thawed tater tots around the molds, slightly overlapping, to form a shell.
  2. Bake the Cones:
    Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and crispy. Let them cool slightly, then gently remove the cones from the molds.
  3. Prepare the Filling:
    In a skillet, cook ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder until browned. Drain the fat. Stir in chopped bacon and both cheeses until melted and well combined.
  4. Stuff and Serve:
    Spoon the cheeseburger filling into each tater tot cone. Top with optional burger toppings and serve hot!
