Fresh fruit salad

Ingredients:

  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup green grapes
  • 1 cup red grapes
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and
  • quartered (optional)
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks (or canned, drained)
  • 1 orange, peeled and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. 1. In a large bowl, combine the sliced bananas, green grapes, red grapes, strawberries,
  2. pineapple, and orange pieces. 2. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice to keep the bananas from browning and to add a zesty flavor.
  3. 3. Add honey or maple syrup if you’d like it sweeter, and gently toss until the fruit is evenly coated.
  4. 4. Chill in the fridge for 10–15 minutes for a refreshing, cold treat.
  5. 5. Garnish with fresh mint leaves before serving. Enjoy!
