Ingredients:
- 1 lb cooked brisket, shredded
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite)
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup caramelized onions
Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
- Mix the shredded brisket with BBQ sauce in a bowl. Set aside.
Heat butter in a pan over medium heat. - Grill the sourdough bread slices, toasting each side until golden and crispy.
- Once toasted, layer the BBQ brisket mixture on two slices of bread, top with caramelized onions and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Place the remaining bread slices on top to form sandwiches.
Grill the sandwiches for 2-3 minutes per side until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy. - Slice and serve warm for a delicious melt!
