Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Smoked Sausage

Ingredients :

Main Components:

  • 1 lb Monon Meats Smoked Sausage

  • 2 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes

  • 1 cup sharp white cheddar

Flavor Base:

  • 1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch Mix
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup European butter
  • sweet onion
  • 2 cloves roasted garlic
  • ½ cup fresh chives

Instructions : 

  1. Prep:
    Preheat oven to 375°F.
    Thinly slice smoked sausage.
    Dice potatoes into ½” cubes.

  2. Sear Sausage:
    Brown sausage in cast iron skillet over medium heat. Remove.

  3. Sauté Aromatics:
    In same skillet, cook diced onion + minced garlic until soft.

  4. Combine:
    In bowl, mix:

    • Potatoes

    • Sausage

    • Onion/garlic

    • Shredded cheddar

    • Ranch mix

    • Milk

    • Melted butter

    • S&P

  5. Bake:
    Transfer to greased ceramic baker.
    Cover with foil → bake 60 mins.
    Uncover → bake 15 mins until golden.

  6. Garnish:
    Top with fresh chives.
