Creamy Caramel Custard Pie

Ingredients :

  • 1 pre-baked pie crust (store-bought/homemade)

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup milk

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ cup caramel sauce

  • Whipped cream (optional garnish)

Instructions : 

  1. Make Custard:
    In medium saucepan, whisk cream cheese, heavy cream, milk, sugar, and cornstarch over medium heat 5-7 mins until thickened.
    Remove from heat → stir in vanilla extract.

  2. Fill Crust:
    Pour custard into pre-baked pie crust → spread evenly.
    Cool to room temp → refrigerate ≥2 hours until set.

  3. Add Caramel:
    Spread caramel sauce evenly over chilled custard.

  4. Garnish & Set:
    Pipe optional whipped cream around edges.
    Chill 1 more hour.

  5. Serve:
    Slice chilled → enjoy!

  1. I am going to make the pickle beets. I remember my mom pickling them in Mason Jars then my dad would put the jars in the crawl space. I am going to make the carmel pie. Thank you for your recipes.
