Ingredients :
Meatballs:
- 1 lb grass-fed ground beef
- ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup whole milk
- 1 egg
- ½ sweet onion
- 2 cloves roasted garlic
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Gravy:
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 8 oz cremini mushrooms
- 2 cups beef bone broth
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
Instructions :
- Make Meatballs:
Mix beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire, S&P. Roll into 1″ balls (use scoop). - Sear:
Heat olive oil in cast iron skillet. Brown meatballs 2-3 mins/side. Remove. - Mushrooms:
Sauté mushrooms 5 mins until golden. - Gravy:
Sprinkle flour over mushrooms, stir 1 min.
Whisk in beef broth + water slowly. Simmer until thickened. - Simmer:
Return meatballs to gravy. Cover, simmer 10-15 mins.
