strawberry jello pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup ice cold water
  • 2/3 cup boiling water
  • 3 ounces strawberry jello
  • 16 ounces cool whip
  • 1 ready-to-use graham cracker crumb crust (9-inch)

Directions:

  1. in a mixing bowl, dissolve the strawberry jello in the boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved.
  2. add the ice cold water and mix well.
  3. refrigerate the mixture for about 20 to 30 minutes, until it slightly thickens but is not fully set.
  4. gently fold in the cool whip until smooth and fully combined.
  5. pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust and spread evenly.
  6. refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.
  7. slice and serve chilled.

serving tips

  • top with fresh strawberries for extra flavor
  • add a dollop of whipped cream before serving
  • keep refrigerated until ready to serve

optional variations

  • use raspberry or cherry jello for a different flavor twist
  • add sliced bananas or strawberries into the filling before chilling
  • drizzle with chocolate syrup for a richer dessert
