Ingredients:

  • 1 (12 oz) box saltine crackers or Ritz crackers
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons red chili flakes (adjust to taste)

Instructions

1. Load the Bag

Place the crackers in a large zip-top bag, keeping them whole.

2. Add Oil

Drizzle the olive oil evenly over the crackers while gently rotating the bag.

3. Season

Sprinkle Italian seasoning and red chili flakes evenly over the crackers.

4. Coat Gently

Seal the bag tightly and gently flip and rotate until all crackers are coated. Avoid shaking too hard to prevent breaking.

5. Marinate

Lay the bag flat and let sit at room temperature for at least 8 hours or overnight.
Flip occasionally to redistribute oil and seasoning.

6. Serve

Transfer to an airtight container and serve.

  • Adjust chili flakes to control spice level
  • Store at room temperature for up to 1 week
  • Do not refrigerate to maintain crisp texture
