Ingredients:
- 4 slices bacon
- 2 large eggs
- 2 slices bread or 1 sandwich roll
- 1 tablespoon butter (for toasting)
- 1 slice cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1–2 lettuce leaves (optional)
- 2 slices tomato (optional)
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
- Dash of hot sauce (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the Bacon
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the bacon until crispy, about 3–4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
2. Cook the Eggs
In the same skillet, crack the eggs and cook to your preference (fried, scrambled, or sunny-side up). Season with salt and pepper.
3. Toast the Bread
Spread butter on one side of each slice and toast until golden brown.
4. Assemble
Layer lettuce and tomato (if using) on one slice of bread.
Add bacon, eggs, and cheese.
Drizzle hot sauce if desired, then top with the second slice.
5. Serve
Cut in half and serve warm.
