Southern Fried Chicken Batter

Ingredients:
2 beaten eggs
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons paprika
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
4 teaspoons garlic salt

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the beaten eggs and milk until smooth.
  2. Add paprika, poultry seasoning, and garlic salt. Mix well to combine all flavors.
  3. Dip chicken pieces into the batter, making sure each piece is fully coated.
  4. For extra crispiness, dredge the coated chicken in seasoned flour before frying.
  5. Fry in hot oil (about 175°C) until golden brown and fully cooked through.

Serving Tips:
Serve hot with mashed potatoes, coleslaw, or fries for a classic Southern meal.
