Oven Fried Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch (for extra crispiness)
  • 2 teaspoons seasoning of choice
    • Options include salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, or a seasoning blend

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and place a wire rack on top. Lightly spray the rack with cooking spray.
  2. Pat the chicken wings completely dry with paper towels.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, and seasoning.
  4. Toss the wings in the flour mixture until evenly coated. Shake off excess.
  5. Arrange wings on the wire rack in a single layer, leaving space between each.
  6. Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. For extra crispiness, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end, watching closely.
