Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup sour cream
- 2–3 jalapeños, roasted, peeled, and finely chopped
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives or green onions, finely sliced
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Roast the Jalapeños
Place whole jalapeños under a broiler or over an open flame, turning until skins are charred and blistered. Transfer to a bowl and cover for 10 minutes to steam. Peel off the skins, remove seeds if milder heat is preferred, and finely chop. - Mix the Base
In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add sour cream and mix until creamy and fully combined. - Add Flavor
Stir in chopped roasted jalapeños, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, chives, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly incorporated. - Chill
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to blend. - Serve
Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with extra chives if desired.
