- 1/3–1/2 cup milk or water (as needed)
- 1 tablespoon oil or melted butter
Instructions:
- Make the dough: In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add oil/butter and milk (or water) gradually, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Knead briefly: Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 1–2 minutes until smooth.
- Rest: Cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
- Shape: Divide into 2–3 pieces. Roll each into a small circle about 1/4-inch thick.
- Cook: Heat a nonstick or lightly oiled skillet over medium-low heat. Cook each bread 2–3 minutes per side, until golden spots appear and the bread puffs slightly.
- Serve: Remove from heat and keep covered with a clean towel to stay warm.
