Cheesecake Brownies

 

Ingredients:

Brownie Layer

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Cheesecake Layer

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; mix until smooth.
  3. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  6. Spoon cheesecake mixture over the brownie batter and swirl gently with a knife.
  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is set.
  8. Cool completely before slicing.

Tips

  • For cleaner slices, refrigerate for 1 hour before cutting.
  • Add chocolate chips or chopped walnuts to the brownie batter for extra texture.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
