- 7 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup salted butter
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 18 fun-size Butterfinger candy bars, chopped or crushed
- 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
Instructions:
- Place the Rice Chex cereal in a large mixing bowl. Set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each, until fully melted and smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal. Gently fold until all cereal is evenly coated.
- Add the chopped Butterfinger candy bars and carefully mix to distribute without breaking the cereal.
- Transfer the coated cereal into a large resealable bag or a container with a tight-fitting lid. Add the powdered sugar, seal, and shake until evenly coated.
- Spread the puppy chow onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and let cool completely, about 30 minutes.
- Once set, store or serve.
