Slow Cooker Cracker Barrel–Style Carrots

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds baby carrots (or sliced whole carrots)
  • 1/2 cup butter, cut into slices
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Add carrots, butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt, pepper, and water to the slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours or HIGH for 3 hours, until carrots are fork-tender.
  3. Drain any excess liquid if needed. Gently stir to coat carrots in the buttery glaze.
  4. Serve warm and watch everyone go back for seconds.
