Cowboy Casserole with Beef & Tater Tots

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper into the beef until creamy.
  4. Spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the corn over the beef, then add an even layer of shredded cheese.
  6. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
