Ingredients:
- 3 lb beef chuck roast
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 large onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef on all sides until browned.
- Remove beef and sauté onion and garlic in the same skillet until softened.
- Place beef in the slow cooker and add onion, garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours, until the beef is tender.
- Shred with two forks and stir back into the juices before serving.
