Ingredients:
- 6 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions:
- Lightly grease the inside of the slow cooker with butter or non-stick spray.
- Arrange the sliced apples evenly in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Pour melted butter over the mixture and stir until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours, until apples are tender and topping is set.
- Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
