Cinnamon Roll French Toast Roll-Ups

Ingredients:

  • 6 slices white bread, crusts removed
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • Maple syrup, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice of bread until thin and flexible.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, brown sugar, and cinnamon until smooth.
  3. Spread the filling evenly over each slice of bread. Roll up tightly and gently press to seal.
  4. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the egg and milk.
  5. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, letting excess drip off, then place seam-side down in the skillet.
  7. Cook, turning gently, until golden brown on all sides, about 1–2 minutes per side.
  8. Serve warm with maple syrup for dipping or drizzling.
