Ingredients:
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup diced green pepper
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup grated carrots
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 24 oz spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
- Cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and return to the pot.
- While the noodles are still hot, add the cream cheese and mix until fully melted and coated. Set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add the green pepper, onion, carrots, and garlic. Cook until vegetables are softened.
- Stir in the Italian seasoning, then drain excess fat if needed.
- Return the mixture to the skillet and stir in the spaghetti sauce.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread a small amount of the meat sauce on the bottom of the dish.
- Layer the cream cheese spaghetti evenly over the sauce.
- Top with the remaining meat sauce.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly over the top, followed by mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Serve warm.
