Baked Cream Cheese Spaghetti

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced green pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup grated carrots
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 24 oz spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and return to the pot.
  2. While the noodles are still hot, add the cream cheese and mix until fully melted and coated. Set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  4. Add the green pepper, onion, carrots, and garlic. Cook until vegetables are softened.
  5. Stir in the Italian seasoning, then drain excess fat if needed.
  6. Return the mixture to the skillet and stir in the spaghetti sauce.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  8. Spread a small amount of the meat sauce on the bottom of the dish.
  9. Layer the cream cheese spaghetti evenly over the sauce.
  10. Top with the remaining meat sauce.
  11. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly over the top, followed by mozzarella cheese.
  12. Bake for 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Serve warm.
