Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Swirls

Ingredients:

  • 1 package chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 1 sheet puff pastry dough
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Powdered sugar (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Chop the cookie dough into quarters.
  3. Press the cookie dough pieces evenly onto one half of the puff pastry sheet.
  4. Fold the pastry over to enclose the dough and gently press to seal.
  5. Cut into strips, twist each strip, and roll into a swirl shape.
  6. Place on the prepared baking sheet and brush with egg wash.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve warm.
