Nutella & Cranberry Puff Pastry Stars

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • ½ cup Nutella (or other chocolate-hazelnut spread)
  • ½ cup dried cranberries, finely chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Spread an even layer of Nutella over half of the pastry. Sprinkle chopped cranberries evenly on top.
  4. Fold the pastry over to cover the filling and gently press to seal.
  5. Using a star-shaped cookie cutter, cut out stars and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Brush the tops lightly with beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired. Serve warm or at room temperature.
