Gooey Baked Brie in Phyllo Dough

 

Ingredients:

  • 10 sheets phyllo dough, thawed
  • 1 wheel brie cheese
  • Raspberry preserves (to taste)
  • Butter, melted

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lay one sheet of phyllo dough horizontally on a clean, dry surface and brush lightly with melted butter. Place another sheet on top and brush with butter. Repeat until you have 4 layered sheets.
  3. Layer the remaining phyllo sheets vertically over the first stack, brushing each with melted butter.
  4. Place the brie wheel in the center and spoon raspberry preserves over the top.
  5. Fold the phyllo corners up and over the brie to fully wrap it. Brush the outside with more melted butter.
  6. Transfer to a baking sheet and bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden and crisp.
  7. Serve warm with bread or crackers.
