Ingredients:
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 200 g feta cheese, crumbled
- 120 g grated mozzarella
- ½ tsp dried mint or oregano
- 1 egg, separated
- 1 tsp milk (for egg wash)
- Sesame seeds
- Cranberry sauce
- Honey
- Fresh rosemary (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Crumble the feta finely and mix with mozzarella, dried herbs, and egg white.
- Spread cranberry sauce lightly over the top half of the puff pastry, then spread the cheese mixture evenly over it.
- Fold the pastry over, press gently, and smooth the surface.
- Cut into 1 cm strips using a knife or pizza cutter.
- Twist each strip, then roll into a swirl shape.
- Place on the baking sheet, brush with egg yolk mixed with milk, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake on the lower rack for 28–32 minutes until deep golden and fully baked.
- Drizzle lightly with honey and garnish with rosemary if desired. Serve warm or cold.
