Orange Dreamsicle Salad

Ingredients :

  • 1 (3 oz) box orange Jell-O
  • 1 (3.4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup boiling water
    ½ cup cold water
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (11 oz) can mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions : 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, pour the boiling water over the orange Jell-O. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
  2. Add the cold water and stir to combine.
  3. Whisk in the instant vanilla pudding mix until smooth and slightly thickened.
  4. Let the mixture cool for about 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it is no longer warm but not fully set.
  5. Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated and creamy.
  6. Stir in the drained mandarin oranges and mini marshmallows.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours, or until chilled and set.

Serving Suggestions
Serve cold as a refreshing side dish or dessert. This salad pairs well with grilled foods, potlucks, or holiday meals.

Storage

Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Stir gently before serving if needed.

Optional Variations

    • Add crushed pineapple (well drained) for extra fruit flavor.
    • Substitute orange pudding for a stronger citrus taste.
    • Mix in shredded coconut for added texture.
