Cranberry Cream Cheese Pinwheels

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup dried cranberries (or finely chopped sweetened fresh cranberries)
  • 2 tbsp chopped chives
  • 1 egg (egg wash)
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Mix cream cheese, honey, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in cranberries and chives.
  2. Roll out puff pastry and spread the mixture evenly on top. Roll into a tight log, then slice into about 16 pieces.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place slices on a parchment-lined tray, brush with egg wash, and add Parmesan if using.
  4. Bake 15–18 minutes until golden and puffed. Serve warm or at room temperature.
