Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450 g) ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 8 slices provolone cheese
Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Cook for 6–8 minutes until softened and caramelized. Remove and set aside.
- Add the sliced steak to the skillet. Season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2–3 minutes until browned.
- Return the onions and peppers to the skillet and toss everything together.
- Layer provolone cheese over the mixture, cover briefly, and let the cheese melt.
- Spoon the filling into toasted hoagie rolls.
- Serve hot.
