Crockpot Stuffing

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf French bread, torn & dried
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 3–4 celery ribs, diced
  • 4–5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh sage (or 1 tsp dried)
  • ½ tbsp fresh thyme (or ½ tsp dried)
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary (or ¼ tsp dried)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (or 2 tsp dried)
  • 1 tbsp Knorr chicken bouillon powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth

Instructions:

  1. Add dried torn French bread to a greased 6-quart crockpot.
  2. Sauté butter, onions, celery, and garlic for 7–8 minutes.
  3. Stir in herbs, bouillon, and pepper; cook 1–2 minutes.
  4. Pour mixture over the bread and gently fold.
  5. Add broth and lightly stir to moisten.
  6. Cook on HIGH 1.5–2 hours without opening the lid.
  7. Fluff and add extra broth if you prefer softer stuffing.
