Ingredients:
- Casserole:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 1 cup mushrooms, diced
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 7 slices bacon, crumbled
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- ½ tsp dried rosemary
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella
- 3 cans green beans
- Topping:
- ½ cup mozzarella cheese
- 1 bag Kinders crispy onions
- 4 slices bacon, crumbled
Instructions:
- In a skillet, melt 3 tbsp butter and cook diced onion and mushrooms until the onion becomes translucent.
- Add minced garlic, crumbled bacon, salt, pepper, paprika, parsley, and rosemary.
- Add 3 tbsp more butter and stir in the flour to create a roux.
- Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, mixing until thickened.
- Stir in ½ cup mozzarella and add the green beans.
- Transfer mixture to a 9×13 baking dish.
- Top with mozzarella, crispy onions, and crumbled bacon.
- Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
