Crockpot Beef Tips & Noodles

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb stew meat
  • 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces egg noodles, cooked

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Crockpot: Place the stew meat in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Add Seasonings: Sprinkle the onion soup mix and brown gravy mix over the meat.
  3. Add Liquids: Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours (or on high for 3 to 4 hours) until the beef is tender.
  5. Thicken if Needed: If the gravy is too thin, mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water, add to the crockpot, and cook for 10 minutes until thickened.
  6. Serve: Spoon the beef tips and gravy over cooked egg noodles.

Tips:

  • For extra richness, add sliced mushrooms during cooking.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes or rice instead of noodles for variation.
  • Use chuck roast cut into cubes for even more tender beef.
