Ingredients:
- 1 lb stew meat
- 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 ounces egg noodles, cooked
Instructions:
- Prepare the Crockpot: Place the stew meat in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add Seasonings: Sprinkle the onion soup mix and brown gravy mix over the meat.
- Add Liquids: Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Stir gently to combine.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours (or on high for 3 to 4 hours) until the beef is tender.
- Thicken if Needed: If the gravy is too thin, mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water, add to the crockpot, and cook for 10 minutes until thickened.
- Serve: Spoon the beef tips and gravy over cooked egg noodles.
Tips:
- For extra richness, add sliced mushrooms during cooking.
- Serve over mashed potatoes or rice instead of noodles for variation.
- Use chuck roast cut into cubes for even more tender beef.
