Crispy Honey Butter Garlic Chicken Strips

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

Honey Butter Garlic Sauce

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

Instructions :

  1. In one bowl, whisk together the egg and water.
  2. In a second bowl, mix the flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Place panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  4. Coat each chicken tender in the flour mixture, then dip it in the egg, then press it into the panko to fully coat.
  5. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry chicken strips 3–4 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through.
  6. For the sauce, melt butter in a small saucepan. Add honey, garlic, and soy sauce. Simmer for 1–2 minutes.
  7. Toss the crispy chicken strips in the warm honey butter garlic sauce and serve immediately.
