2 Minute Pizza in a Mug

Ingredients:

  • 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/16 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
  • 5 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons prepared pizza sauce
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Pinch dried Italian seasoning (about 1/16 teaspoon)
  • 6–8 mini pepperoni slices

Instructions:

1. Make the Batter
In a microwave-safe mug, combine the flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Add the water and olive oil, then stir until a smooth batter forms with no dry pockets.

2. Add the Sauce
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the batter without mixing it in.

3. Add the Toppings
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top. Add the mini pepperoni slices and finish with a pinch of Italian seasoning.

4. Microwave
Microwave on high for about 1 minute and 30 seconds to 2 minutes, depending on your microwave power, until the dough is cooked and the cheese is melted.

5. Serve
Let it cool for about 1 minute before eating directly from the mug.
