Ingredients:
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple (with juice)
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, crushed pineapple with juice, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Stir in chopped nuts if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely before serving.
