Ingredients:
- ½ cup white sugar
- ½ cup light corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup peanut butter
- 3 cups cornflakes cereal
Instructions:
- Prepare the Baking Sheet:
Line a baking sheet with waxed paper or parchment paper. - Make the Peanut Butter Mixture:
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring the sugar and corn syrup to a gentle boil.
Stir in the butter and peanut butter until fully melted and smooth.
Remove from heat. - Combine with Cornflakes:
Place the cornflakes in a large mixing bowl.
Pour the warm peanut butter mixture over them and stir until the cereal is evenly coated. - Form the Cookies:
Drop tablespoon-sized portions onto the prepared baking sheet.
Flatten slightly if desired. - Cool and Serve:
